Ullapool

A little bit of information on where I will be going on a family camping trip later this month. We will probably head back to Ullapool and camp at Broomfield Campsite.  This is a large campsite with great facilities and will make a perfect base for touring up the North West Coast of Scotland.

Ullapool is a small town of around 1,500 inhabitants in Ross-shire, Scottish Highlands. Despite its small size, it is the largest settlement for many miles around and a major tourist destination.
From Ullapool you can get a Caledonian MacBrayne ferry over to Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides which is also known as the Western  Isles

Please leave a comment If you have any questions about the places I go or about the camping gear I use. I'm certainly not an expert, but I will try my hardest to explain what I do know.
